Sunday was meant to be General Assembly at the Apostolic Centre.
Instead, we gathered for prayer.
What could have felt like a disruption quickly became clear: this was not a cancellation – it was a continuation. A grace extension. A divine appointment to complete what began the previous Sunday when we laid hold of our godly inheritance.
Sunday centered on Victory, and we stepped into intentional intercession once again.
This was not prayer from desperation. It was prayer from positioning.
There are seasons when God allows repetition, not because He is uncertain, but because He is reinforcing something in us. This service felt like reinforcement; pressing further into promises, revisiting covenants, strengthening foundations.
There were moments of intercession over families and unity. There were declarations concerning battles seen and unseen. There were prayers that touched lingering promises and long-standing expectations. And there was gratitude; deep gratitude.
One especially significant moment came when Pastor Derin led us in a song she received in her sleep that morning. It shifted the room. It stirred faith around God’s covenant-keeping nature. It reminded us that God does not forget what He has spoken.
We closed with Psalm 20, transforming its verses into declarations:
“May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble…”
“May He remember all your offerings…”
“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God…”
It was not a sermon-heavy service.
It was not structured around teaching.
It was a declaration.
A reinforcement.
A finishing.
And perhaps that is the lesson of the week: when God interrupts your schedule, it may be because He is securing your victory.
Carry that posture forward. Shalom!
